To clarify, there are 7 Archangels described, all of whom are patrons of a different aspect of His Will. They are also often depicted in icons as handsome or as androgynous men.
Archangel Michael is commonly depicted wielding a spear and standing victorious over the Dragon, when he cast him out of Heaven.
Gabriel is often seen using a horn, signifying his role as the Messenger of the Almighty.
Raphael is depicted holding either a staff or a flask - showing he is the Patron of Healers and medicine.
Sealtiel is seen as praying.
Jegudiel holds a golden wreath in his right hand and a whip in the other.
And Barachiel clutches a white rose against his chest.

Although not one of the Blessed Archangels himself, there is one named Azrael, the Angel of Death. He is often described as being a dark and brooding figure, hooded and cloaked - but unlike his common depiction as a skeleton, he's said to be human - albeit appearing differently to everyone that sees him.
