The Immortal Adonis.

I painted this painting for two reasons.
  1. I love painting the perfect male human body, and I'll always be painting and repainting it, on the search for perfection.

  2. I desired a complete re-haul of my websites color scheme, and so I needed a new background for that. I planned a color scheme similar to that of Caravaggio's paintings; a decision which prompted me to paint a beautiful youth.

Pale porcelain skin, auburn hair and blue eyes together are the epitome of beauty to me.

Amazing, I do like your picture. It is professional, vintage and beautiful. Not to melt all over you, but it is what I call a masterpiece. But, the veins of the homo-sapien (human)'s veins is really out there so slow it down.that is about it (sorry, first timer of writing a critique)for you. And next time try to draw like this but even cool. Like a 14th century European man or a mystical mermaid. I also like this vibrant red hair. And the silk velvety cloth. I like his eyes. Sorry(again) first timer. His body shape is quite masculine, too.

It really is strikingly beautiful the coloring (hair eyes skin combo) are lovely the inner glow is there and the sheet is very reflective and the texture and metallic color of the satin compliments the luminous skin. There's alot of detail with the hair and veins and the shading of the body over-all is very good. Also there is a non confrontational, coy, or innocent look in the expression of the face and choosing to have the eyes looking off. I think its a good choice and gives the viewer the impression they are catching a more candid moment and are not intruding where they are unwanted.
Constructively : The weight of the body would pull the sheet into creases around the left hand and elbow. There's struggle in the realistic proportion and shape of the forearm wrist-hand area, and while the abs are nicely done - its highly unrealistic for people to have that symmetrical of abs and don't forget they bend with the body in a pose. This is just personal taste but the angel shows the leg ending at the knee, the viewer knows the rest of it is back there but aesthetically it may be better to show the other foot or the leg smoothly and gradually disappearing and not bent so that there's only a stump of a knee left. The left arm is lying in the same direction as the body and the composition might be made more interesting had it been pivoted more towards the viewer with some foreshortening. I think a photographer might tell you something like that - but it's all about personal taste I suppose. There is a bit of a dusty feeling in some areas where the body is near the sheet, that stick out because some of the edges of the body are so crisp.
It's beautiful though and you should be very proud of it.

he looks just like how I imagine Armand from Anne Rice's series
Was that the point (red hair, immortal, the very symbol of beauty) or was this a happy coincidence?

A happy coincidence, sadly. I always imagined Armand as portrayed by Antonio Banderas, because I never read Anne Rice's books beyond The Interview with the Vampire (I do not like her style of writing). But after posting this painting, it was explained to me that Armand was actually 17 years old, and NOT Antonio Banderas' age? Lol. So, it's all a happy coincidence.
