A quick ink-lineart illustration of my most favorite short-story ever, "The Emperor's Soul", by Brandon Sanderson. I just loved Shai, Gaotona and the little we saw of Emperor Ashravan, not to mention the unique and fantastic magic system. I wish there would be more of this story.

This might have been Sanderson's best work EVER, and you recreated this scene beautifully! I love his no-nonsense appearance, matching his simple matter-of-fact statement after hearing about the stamp.
I'm certain you've heard about this by now, but there is a KIND of continuation of this story. At least in so far as the magic is concerned. Sanderson's Cosmere is growing more and more with each book, and we get hints of this type of magic in one of his later books. So we may yet get more stories like this in the near future.
Again, beautiful work!
