The first time I read "A Feast for Crows", I found the chapters about the Iron Born the least enjoyable ones in the book. On the second and third re-reads, I found the same chapters to be the most enjoyable ones. I love the characters of Euron and Victarion and I enjoy very much the tension, and hatred between the two (well, more like Victarion's hatred towards Euron). I am very curios to see what GRRM will do with these two in his future books.
I am aware that in the book Euron is not holding the sable cloak in his hand, covering his private parts, however I had no desire to make this drawing an NC-17 rated one, as such, I chose to make him cover himself earlier than canon.
OMG you just killed me. He looks like a sex god, with that pose and a vicious smile <3 I really liked him when I've read chapters with him, but this picture just made him one of my favourites! He definitely should get more attention in the books since he is such a interesting and... ambigous character (love when he says that he is the most godly man, or about humans ability to fly, or that he throw away dragon's egg when he got the blues... actually I love all he says xP)
I just read the Kingsmoot chapter, I think we all saw how that was going to turn out, and I think Crow's Eye is going to be one of my favourite characters, one of those characters you should hate but just can't. I'm worried with him though, it involving Dany, Crow's Eye, and his magical horn. Can you believe what Victarion did to his third wife? I mean jesus, couldn't he of beaten seven bells of shit out of Crow's Eye instead? Anyway, what can I say about this except... holy crap mate, I want to marry it. It's exactly how I pictured Crow's Eye, and the sable looks so soft I want to run my fingers through it.
this is, what I call sexy! I pray for Euron get another big appearance (and on a handsome actor for the tv-show). A great work, the play of light and shadow is amazing.
Of all the characters I want to see further developed, Euron's at the top of my list. This is a great rendition! He has a slightly corvine look -- it's very effective!
Excellent rendition of the books' greatest villain. Many might say Cersei or Ramsay are the worst, but... I don't know. I am pretty sure if you put a sword through their hearts, they would die. I'm not quite certain with Euron Greyjoy...
Thanks so much! I am glad to hear this little old piece is to your liking. I actually agree with you that Euron is probably the most devious. Or at least seems to be. I hope GRRM isn't going to kill him in a banal meaningless way, diminishing his awesome mysteriousness.
Love this character. Really hope he has a bigger part in Winds of Winter. He's the bad guy this series needs since all the other ones keep getting killed.
