Really well done. The face shapes, the colors (both hair and dress), the expressions, even poses and hands (somebody's restless) and jewelry (Arya wouldn't have any even if she's forced to wear a pretty dress). Love it.

I love Arya's face here. I recently began reading the first book and remember her nickname being Horseface. You have given her a long face that some people, to be bullies in the story, would call a "horse face". But you can see that Arya is actually quite pretty in her own way and not in the version of beauty people in Westeros expect her to be. Like a lot of people in life, she's probably a late bloomer and will grow into her features very well in the future. In my eyes, I feel that Arya's hands seem to be larger than in proportion to her body. I like this a lot - is this described in the books? - and I feel that it is another sign of her growing into her face and body in time. Great job on the overall work! I really like it.

I bet she *will* be a late bloomer. After all she's very much like her aunt Lyana and she was considered a wild beauty.

Thank you ever so much for the wonderful review.
I did my best to stay as close to the novel description of the characters as possible. I really love how they are described in the novels, but this was also something my commissioner requested. :)
Regarding Arya's hands; I don't remember it written in the novels. I just made her hands a little larger than normal, to try and even more emphasize that she is not a slender flower with 'petite' slender hands, etc., but more a boyish kind of girl (a tomboy). XD I am glad you like it though.

I absolutely love these depictions of the Stark girls! This is how i imagine them when i'm reading the books, and it's so refreshing to see a take on the characters that actually derives from how they are described in the books and not just the cast of the show. Amazing job.

Thank you ever so much for your wonderful compliment. I am very happy to hear that I was able to capture Arya, Catelyn and Sansa to your liking in this painting. :D

Oh, I MUCH prefer my own imagination over how these characters look, rather than how they are represented in the show. Also, truth is, I've been a Song of Ice and Fire fan, for years before the show even came to be, so it's rather hard for me now to see the characters in any other way than what I imagined over the years. Unless I will be commissioned to paint the characters from the show, I highly doubt I'll ever paint anyone from HBO's Game of Thrones.

Nice. I'm glad that you actually went with the Arya Horseface look. Too many people out there try to make her something she's not, and give her looks like Sansa has (I even see a couple people in the comments disappointed that Arya isn't beautiful, haha). I get irked when some of the character's descriptions are laid out plainly in the text, only to get completely ignored when someone tries to illustrate them. Anyway, I'll step down from my soap box now. This is a wonderful painting.

Very true! I also like how there's a hint of future beauty there… she just needs to grow into her looks. :)
