CONTACT
For anyone wishing to ask me any questions, especially URGENT questions, please email me at arkoniel@mathiaarkoniel.com instead of writing me a note! I do not visit my DA account more than once a month, so you will have to wait long before I'll reply if you write me a note here. So use email instead, please. Thank you for your understanding

COMMISSION FEES

For anyone who might be interested in commissioning me, here is a rundown of my fees:

PARTIAL COPYRIGHT

Fully detailed Paintings
- 1 fully detailed painting, with one character (full body/knees/waist up) and a simple background is $180. Example 1, Example 2, Example 3
- A complex background is +$40.
- 1 fully detailed painting, with one character (full body, or knees/waist up) and a complex background is $220. Example 1, Example 2, Example 3
- Every new character added is +$50. The maximum number of characters I am willing to paint in one painting is 2.

Anime and Manga style Art
- 1 anime cell shading style painting, with one character (full body, or knees/waist up) and a simple background is $60. Example 1, Example 2, Example 3
- 1 anime cell shading style painting, with one character (full body, or knees/waist up) and a complex background is $80. Example 1 , Example 2, Example 3
- 1 black and white manga page is $35. Example 1, Example 2.
- Every new character added is +$10.
- The maximum number of characters I am willing to paint in one ANIME-CELL-SHADING style painting is 4. Example

Chibi style Art
- 1 colored chibi style drawing, with one or two characters (full body, or knees/waist up) and a simple or no background is $15. Example 1, Example 2
- Every new Chibi character added is +$5. The maximum number of characters I am willing to draw is 7.
- A complex background added is +$10.

To the final price is added the PayPal transaction fees ($0.30 +3.9%).
Partial Copyright means, that I keep some of the rights to the painting, including but not limited to, selling it as prints, mouse-pads and calendars.

List of things I won't paint...for now.
- no children under the age of 16
- no actors/musicians/politicians (I will not paint actors outside of their roles or real musicians and/or politicians. This means, I will paint Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, but I will not paint Alan Rickman as he is in Real Life, unless you have written permission from him ;) ).
- no huge monsters/angular robots (cyborgs and androids are okay as long as they retain the shape of human anatomy).
- no dinosaurs (dragons are OK)
- no furries
- no vector/vexel art
- no website designs/buttons/backgrounds/logos (I am a painter, not a designer). :)

FULL COPYRIGHT

The price for the full copyright version differs from the Partial Copyright in that $200 are added for the copyright value. To the final price is added the PayPal transaction fees ($0.30 +3.9%).

In case of "Full Copyright", you own all the copyright. This practically means, that the only thing I'll ever do with the painting is post it in my galleries, but I'll never re-sell it, or sell prints, mouse-pads, calendars etc. of it.

Though I am ever so grateful for the honor of many people commissioning me, the waiting list is very long (12-16 months). So if you wish to commission me, please book a slot as soon as possible, for the waiting list is getting longer and longer. This also sadly means that I'll probably only get to work on your commission a year from the time you contacted me. I apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me at arkoniel@mathiaarkoniel.com

Thank you and best wishes.
M.A.

If you did not give the person permission to re-post your work, please report the fb page for art theft.

Thank you very much for the information and for the thought, but this is called "fair use" and is not a copyright infringement. The person did not claim that the painting is theirs, they left the watermark on the painting, so they may feel free to repost the painting in as many places as they like. :)

All pictures and artworks on the web can be reposted as long as you give credit to the original artist, of course. Claiming a work as your own when you did not actually create it, that's copyright infringement. Reposting, sharing, rebloging is okay under the Creative Commons license, and/or Fair Use.

Thanks ever so much for leaving me a comment about this. I truly appreciate it. :)

My pleasure!
I know some artists don't want there artwork shared without their consent, hence mentioning it just in case

Oh yes, I noticed that. Each to their own, of course, but I think that's quite silly not to want your artwork shared as much as possible. Sharing (and being given credit for it, of course), can ONLY bring you tons of new fans and potential clients. So, sharing their work and spreading the word, is the best thing and greatest compliment one can give to an artist, in my opinion. :)

Thank you again for the thought and the time. :)

Sorry for having taken so long to reply to your comment. I rarely visit DA, and so I often end up not seeing/replying to comments for months at a time. Thank you ever so much for your wonderful compliment on my art, and for the feature. I am honored. :)
